Mid- Autumn Festival

This is our 1st Mid-autumn festival away from home. We miss the steamboat dinner which we usually have at Por Por's house. But fret not, mummy & daddy invited Aunty Rachel, Aunty Siew Pheng and their families and also our life-group members to celebrate the occassion at our house last Saturday. The kids even had a little lantern parade around the house.

We also took the opportunity to celebrate Aunty Yenna & Aunty Angeline's birthday.

Tonight, the Chinese Congregation at our Church also organised a Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration (http://www.citylifechurch.com/Chinese/English.aspx). We went to celebrate with other families and had a fun evening.

This is Holly, one of Jayna's friend from Kidz Bizz playgroup. Her mummy & daddy adopted her from Chongqing China, and they are very interested in the Chinese culture. We invited them to the Mid-Autumn Celebration.

Don't you agreed, that no matter where you are in world, the moon is the brightest on this day?

  1. Hey, I caught the same moon on my camera while walking with RaeAnne and her first 'real' lantern with lighted candle.

    Hugs.....Val
