Happy Mothers'Day 2008

This is our 2nd Mothers'Day since we arrived. The boys just got more excited as it is widely celebrated here. Planning for Mothers' Day celebration started 3 weeks ago when they boys found a free recipe booklet suggesting recipes kids can do for Mothers' Day . They also made gifts in school during their art lesson, and at Spotlight's kids' craft workshop. Even Jayna made a special card in Kinder and Playgroup.
We had an extended Mothers' Day celebration spanning over 2 days. On Saturday, the boys prepared a special Mothers' Day lunch.

On Sunday morning, in true Australian fashion, the boys made mummy a special breakfast in bed. Later, we had daddy's secondary school friend Uncle Kelvin and his wife, Aunty Elidah over for lunch. We had a wonderful lunch of yummy food and great fellowship.
That night, the boys with the help of daddy made a special mixed berries smoothie to round up the celebration.
Here's a picture of the gifts and cards Mummy received.
