What a Hailstorm!!!

After all that feasting and fellowship at Aunty Tili's house to celebrate Joel & Daddy's birthday, the rain or rather the storm finally came. We were presently surprised and thrilled to see hail as well. These are hailstones at Aunty Tili's home.

We decided to head home to check on our dear Roody Rabbit, and had a shock of our lives when we drove into Rowville. We later leant that a mini cyclone had come by and created massive havoc and damage to cars and buildings.

We arrived home and found our BBQ area flooded,our rose bushes and herb patch shattered by the hail, as well as piles of hailstones in the yard.

Look at the marks left by the hailstone on our fence.

Considering the damage that all of our friends and neighbours had, we were very fortunate that our damage is not as bad. Thank God we had no broken windows or roof tiles, and that our ceiling didn't come crashing through.

This is not a broken window, but a crack on the fiber-glass cover at the BBQ area.

BTW, Roody rabbit was alright through the storm.
