Chestnut Fever

It's Chestnut season here in Melbourne. Uncle Kelvin and Aunty Eliadah went to pick chestnut and gave us a big bag of them This got mummy inspired to cook Roast Chicken with sticky-rice and chestnut stuffing
 
 
 
 Curious to see the real chestnut and chestnut tree, we went to the Chestnut Festival at Kalorma Reserve but was disappointed that it was a small fair with only 1 store selling fresh and roasted chestnut, but no chestnut tree.

There was also a stall selling these pretty flowers... mummy can't resist but to take a picture

 

Mummy bought more chestnuts, and tried new chest nut recipe...
