On Friday, the Parents'Association in school set up a Mothers' Day stall in school, where gifts for mum were sold by parents volunteers at very affordable price of A$0.50- A$5.00 . In order not to disappoint any child, those who lost their money or forgot to bring any, can also pick up a gift at the end of the day. Jonas managed to pick up 2 gifts as well as wrapping paper and Mothers' Day card, even though he didn't bring any money to school that day.
Yesterday, we decided to celebrate Mothers' Day early, to beat the crowd and avoid paying the fancy prices at most eating places. We went for Devonshire Tea at Brother Jon's Cafe (Mt Dandenong). We had yummy scones, chocolate cake in the midst of a beautiful garden.
This morning, Jonas woke up early by himself and managed to wake Joel up to make breakfast for mummy. They even went to the garden to look for flowers to decorate the tray to serve breakfast. The boys really had lots of fun.
In the afternoon, we all went to Jells' Park for a Mothers'Day picnic cum cycling with the Corea family. All the kids certainly had a good time, while the mummies enjoy a leisure afternoon basking in the sun and fresh air.
Happy Mothers' Day to all mummies.
Happy Mother's day!
ReplyDeleteHey, Alex was commenting that Jonas looked really different now. And as I looked closer, yeah he does looked like he's changed. Joel looks the same. still handsome as ever.
Yes, Jonas has lost his cute cheeky looks, but he's still cheeky nevertheless.... On the 2nd day of school here, his new teacher was already complaining about him. Sigh Sigh. Somethings just never change.
