Ballarat & Grampians National Park

Uncle Chris organised a little get-away to Ballarat & The Grampians as Uncle Alan and his family were in town. It was really fun as 4 families (8 adults, 8 kids & 1 dog) drove westward. Each car had a walkie-talkie for easier communications. We also celebrated Jayna's birthday during the trip. All the kids had lots of fun.
Our 1st stop was Sovereign Hill at Ballarat, where we learnt about the life of the gold-diggers in the past. We also tried to pan for gold, but didn't get any.
After lunch, we made our way to Grampains National Park. It was a long drive.
In Grampians , we stayed in this lovely cabin that accomodated all of us.The next morning, we went to see the Mckenzie Falls. It was fun walking down, but the hike up was really tough!! Good exercisee though for all of us.
