We all (especially mummy) miss our Bubble Tea very much. It's easily found here, but very expensive ( A$2.50 a cup) So mummy cooked the pearl and adds it into our Cheng Ting, and now we are looking forward to drinking home-made Bubble Tea when summer comes.

Local desserts
Recently, Mummy misses local desserts , especialy the warm ones. She was especially motivated to try making them after eating Bubor Cha Cha at Auntie Li Ai's house. So she started to make some of them such as cheng ting , "fu chok, pak quo, yi mei"(bean curd skin, gingko nut & barley), sago pudding.........
.
Her latest was Tau Suan. It looks very much like what we used to eat at Redhill Hawker Centre, except that it's not as sweet, because she's been more health conscious now.

Hi Janice,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you can open a store to sell Singapore deserts. Mummy will enjoy your Bubble Tea when we are in Melbourne.
