Today was a long and tiring day. But it was fun nevertheless. Sam and his friends were introduced to an important aspect of Australian life- FOOD!
First, we were in school by 7.30am this morning for an Australian Breakfast. All the delegates had an opportunity to savour what most Aussies will have for brekkie.... Raisin toast, Vegemite on toast, cereals, weetbix...etc

In the evening, it was our turn to host the family dinner. We hosted the dinner with the Turpin family as we are both living in Rowville.
Mrs Turpin and mummy decided that we will do it in true Aussie fashion by having a barbie, but will add a little Asian touch by having Fried Rice as a side. We were feeling sorry for our Chinese guests who have been away for more than a week and are missing rice/noodles.
An Aussie dinner is not complete without yummy calories loaded desserts!- Apple Crumble, Paralov and Ice -cream.
We had a wonderful time getting to know each other better, exchanging cultures, and the kids had great fun playing together.
