Farewell ISSE

After 2 weeks of sharing and learning from each other, it's time for us to say farewell to our ISSE friends. A special farewell assembly was held in school yesterday. All the host children and teachers involved had to share about what they enjoyed and learnt through this experience.
There was also special performances : fan dance, drum performance and song item. The school also presented all the visitors with special gifts . The host families were also not forgotten. We each received a pot of native shrub ( to be planted in our garden as a memory of our wonderful experiences together), and a group photograph.
Early this morning (6am), we headed to Mt View Primary School to board the coach and went to the airport to send the delegates off.

Sam with the Photo Journal that we gave to him. Joel couldn't go to the airport as he had to play tennis that morning. So Joel had to say his good-bye at school.
" Good -bye Sam, we hope you had a wonderful and memorable time in Melbourne and we wish you well"

We are sure Sam from China would have good memories of the trip to Melbourne, Australia.

All the kids at home and at School would also have a good experience and interaction with foreigners.

I believe it is an excellent student exchange programme promoting understanding between mankinds and learning different languages, cultures, histories, living standard and value concepts etc.
