It was Chinese Culture Day at school today. All students had to dress up in Chinese costume or in colours of the Chinese Flag (red & yellow ). The day started with a special assessmbly where there was Lion Dance and Wushu (Kung-Fu) display.
Throughout the day, the students from Year 3-6 participated in different interactive activities to learn different aspects of the Chinese culture. There were Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, Fangbao making(Chinese craft), Tangograms, Wushu practice, and even a chop-sticks race. It was indeed an interesting and fun way to learn about the Chinese culture.
Mummy and Jayna were at school helping out too. They were helping out at the Fangbao making session for the morning. Jayna had a great time interacting with all the older kids especially the girls.
