Hurstbridge Wattle Festival

We went to Hurstbridge Village for the Hurstbridge Wattle Festival (http://www.wattlefestival.org.au/) with the Corea family today . On our way there, we stopped by Kangaroo Ground Memorial Tower. From the top of the tower, we had a panaromic view of Melbourne.

It was an enjoyable outing for all as we took part in the Festival Treasure Hunt,

and tried different fun activities.

There was also a snake talk where we had an opportunity to touch & carry snakes.

The highlight of the day was the chance for the kids to have a first-hand experience at pottery.

Of course , with the warm weather, who can resist a picnic in the open?
